Fox Training in partnership with the highly innovative Fox Cycling provides a Level 2 studio cycling instructor training course endorsed by Skills Active and iQniter cardiotraining and gaining you 16 REPs points. This two day course delivered onsite at Fox Cycling is packed with added value and is like no other. Our course will give you an edge over instructors that have attended other courses. REPs members will need to hold a Level 2 qualification as a pre-requisite. However, those who are not level 2 gym instructor qualified can still complete the course without REPs recognition. You will be able to work as an insured instructor with or without REPs reognition.
This accredited course provides the participant with a comprehensive and wide ranging set of skills and knowledge to deliver complex studio cycling classes. The participant will be able to instruct in a variety of familiar and unfamiliar studio cycling settings using a wide range of technical knowledge, experience and skills. The participant will also be able to engage in a high level of self assessment and embed into their work a high degree of customer service, revenue generation and measurement of change.

- Introduction to and benefits of studio cycling
- Cycle equipment health and safety
- Anatomy specific to studio cycling
- Understanding training principles, energy systems and cardio training specific to cycling
- Applied anatomy and physiology
- Introduction to heart rate zone training
- Understanding correct bike set up, posture and positioning
- Identifying related health and safety issues
- Full class planning, structure and delivering a class include heart rate zone training. cadence, and group participation.
